college essays are probably hard for you, obviously. (or else you wouldn’t even be reading this guide.)
maybe you even laughed at the title of this guide.. “how in the world could you effortlessly get into the ivy league??? Huh???”

the reason this is so hard for you (and most people) is because most advice is completely 180 degrees backwards.
and this naturally makes complete sense.
to be in the top 1%, you have to operate with a fundamentally different perspective compared to the 99%. especially in a game with so few acceptances and so many rejections (ivy league reject rate is something like 95%).

these students are literal GENIUSES. think about how jealous you get from all their accomplishments, or how they somehow ace every test without studying, but when it comes time to apply for colleges, they can’t communicate that genius.
so all that brilliance just goes to waste and they get rejected.
they’re such masters with their craft, but when it comes to college essays, they just write about their extracurriculars and accomplishments to try to sound impressive, and they just sprinkle in some pseudo-sophisticated buzzwords, and then they hope for the best (they might get into one or two ivy league colleges if they’re REALLY lucky), but in actuality it just turns out bland and uninspiring.
